Terms of use
These Terms govern the use of the cymesh platform. By creating an account or subscribing to a plan, you agree to what is described below.
1. About cymesh
cymesh is a SaaS platform for SSL certificate monitoring. The service checks daily the state of certificates of registered hostnames and emails alerts when it identifies risk of expiry, chain errors, hostname mismatch or unreachability. cymesh does not host sites nor issue certificates; it observes them.
2. Account and subscription
Each account is individual and has a single owner. The account can have one active subscription at a time, charged through Stripe, in Brazilian reais or US dollars depending on the currency of the chosen plan. Switching currency requires the current cycle to end. You may downgrade at any time: hostnames beyond the new plan's limit stop being monitored, keeping the oldest ones, and nothing is deleted — they resume if you move to a larger plan again. Cancellation and refund conditions are set out on the Refunds and cancellation page, which forms part of these Terms.
3. Hostname registration
You register only public hostnames whose control you prove by publishing a TXT record at _cymesh.<hostname>. There is no HTTP/HTTPS fallback in the MVP. Wildcards, IPs, private or reserved hostnames are rejected at registration.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use cymesh to monitor hostnames you don't control or to extract information from networks you don't own. Verification attempts go through the SafeEgress component described in the tech plan: only public unicast IPs, with TLS validation and redirect limits.
5. Termination
You can close the account at any time. The deletion workflow is idempotent, observable and blocks new jobs, outbox and communication immediately. Legally retained data (e.g. tax records) is segregated and cannot reactivate access.
6. Limitation of liability
cymesh is an observability tool. It does not replace the operational management of the certificate holder. Service unavailability does not exempt you from keeping your certificates renewed. cymesh is liable within the contractual limits and applicable law.
